Büyükyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which commenced the 2022-2023 academic year in September 2022, aims to make a difference with its personalized, free, innovative, and technological education model. Expected to be a new point of preference for students, the school will train engineers and designers destined for university education.
Büyükyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, built within the Büyükyalı project by Özak Global Holding under the protocol signed between the Istanbul Governor's Office Provincial Directorate of National Education and Özak Global Holding in 2020, aims to become a new center of attraction for students. Having started its educational journey in September 2022 with 60 students, the school plans for 30 students per classroom. Unlike the classical classroom arrangement in state schools, this facilitates individual-oriented education by ensuring equality of opportunity among students. The primary goal since the planning stage of the school is to train engineers and designers for university entrance, moving beyond the traditional understanding of a vocational high school. In this context, while students are provided with the opportunity to see and learn the "inner workings" of the business, the main focus is intended to be on the design aspect.

Students are admitted to Büyükyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School based on their High School Entrance System (LGS) exam results. In the high school, students who receive education with a "Project-Based Education System" approach can also shape their career planning through the "Academic Package" model. In the school, where students study in the fields of Information Technologies and Machine Design Technology through projects rather than rote learning, the educational process is supported by learning through observing and discovering each other, and even themselves, in collaborative workspaces. The circulation areas, designed as the backbone of the project, allow for group work and interactive learning. Thanks to these opportunities, the school is expected to become a preferred destination for students with even higher exam success in the coming years.
Designed on a total area of 4,000 square meters, with 2,000 square meters as open space and featuring a historical architecture, the school has five classrooms each for design and information technology areas, four laboratories and workshops each for design and information technology areas, as well as 4 culture laboratories. Additionally, the presence of a preparatory class—which is not available in many other schools—provides students with an advantage in the field of language education. Students receiving 24 hours of English lessons will also be in an advantageous position for future study abroad programs.
Büyükyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, equipped with advanced technology in the fields of Information Technologies and Machine Technology, is also located in an integrated position with Fişekhane, Istanbul's culture and arts center. The central location of the high school and its position at the intersection of many transportation networks, especially the Marmaray, constitutes an important factor for students from both the European and Anatolian sides to choose the high school. At the same time, the fact that students continue their educational lives in such an important atmosphere as Fişekhane and are intertwined with culture, art, and history has a positive impact on their perspectives.
