Within the scope of the "Career Days" training sessions initiated by Özak Global Holding under the umbrella of the Özak Culture, Art, and Education Foundation (ÖZAKKSEV) to prepare Büyükyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (BMTAL) students for the future, a new session was held as part of the information technology series. With the "Help Desk Processes and Corporate IT Operations" training organized on February 25th, students had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with real-world business scenarios.
In line with its vision of social benefit, Özak Global Holding has added a new one to its education and youth-oriented projects. The latest stop of the Career Days, carried out through the Özak Culture, Art, and Education Foundation (ÖZAKKSEV) to bring Büyükyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students together with the dynamics of the business world, was the world of Information Technology (IT). While previous programs covered general processes related to Human Resources and IT, the focus this time was on IT support processes, which are the backbone of corporate structures.
Real Business Processes and Hands-on Experience
In the session held on February 25th under the leadership of the Özak Global Holding IT department, "IT Help Desk" processes—one of the areas that IT sector candidates will encounter most in their professional lives—were discussed in detail. Within the scope of the training, technical topics such as corporate IT infrastructures, hardware and software fault management, data recovery methods, the use of OEM parts, and network cabling were emphasized, along with user communication and problem-solving approaches, which are of critical importance for an IT professional. The training was not limited to theoretical explanations but took on an interactive structure. Thanks to team-based scenarios and practical exercises, students experienced developing solutions for complex IT problems.
Educational Competition and Technology Support
One of the most exciting moments of the program was the Kahoot quiz prepared by the IT teams. In the 10-question interactive evaluation, students both had fun and tested what they had learned. Motivation was boosted by presenting various gifts to the top three students in the competition. One of the most meaningful steps of the training series was the technology grant support. To improve students' practical training opportunities in the school environment, Özak Global Holding donated notebooks, desktop computers, and monitors to the school. This contribution ensured that young people could experience the theoretical knowledge they learned with modern equipment.
"Strengthening the Bond Between Education and the Business World"
With this ongoing program under the umbrella of ÖZAKKSEV, it is aimed that young people, who will transition to their compulsory internship period at the end of the academic year, gain self-confidence and create their career maps more consciously. Career Days will continue to strengthen the bridge between school and the business world by ensuring that young talents establish early contact with the field.
